리뎀션으로 담보가 줄면, 어떤 손해가 있을까요? 지난 글에서는 batt에서 금리를 직접 고를 수 있고, 같은 담보 시장에서는 금리가 낮은 대출부터 리뎀션이 적용된다는 점을 다뤘습니다. 이번에는 내 대출에 리뎀션이 적용된 상황을 살펴보겠습니다. 10 ETH를 담보로 맡기고 2,000만 KRW*를 빌렸다고 해보죠. ETH 가격이 개당 400만 원이면 담보 가치는 4,000만 원입니다. 계산을 위해 리뎀션 전후의 ETH 가격은 같고, 시장가격과 오라클 가격도 일치한다고 가정합니다. 1 KRW*는 1원으로 계산하며, 이자·수수료·세금은 제외합니다. 영상의 첫 리뎀션처럼 내 대출에 400만 KRW*의 리뎀션이 적용되면 다음과 같이 바뀝니다. 담보: 10 ETH → 9 ETH 담보 가치: 4,000만 원 → 3,600만 원 부채: 2,000만 KRW* → 1,600만 KRW* 담보로 맡긴 1 ETH가 교환에 쓰이고, 빚도 400만 KRW* 줄었습니다. 담보 가치에서 부채를 뺀 금액은 전후 모두 2,000만 원입니다. 이 계산은 해당 대출 포지션만 비교한 것입니다. 이미 빌려서 보유하거나 사용한 KRW*와 다른 자산은 포함하지 않았습니다. 그렇다면 이후 ETH 가격이 움직이면 어떨까요? 첫 리뎀션 이후 추가 거래 없이 ETH가 400만 원에서 500만 원으로 오른다고 해보죠. 남은 9 ETH의 가치는 900만 원 늘어납니다. 리뎀션 없이 10 ETH를 유지했다면 증가분은 1,000만 원이었을 겁니다. 반대로 ETH가 300만 원으로 내려가면, 남은 담보의 가치는 900만 원 줄어듭니다. 10 ETH를 유지했을 때보다 하락분도 100만 원 적습니다. 리뎀션 이후에는 남은 9 ETH만큼 가격 변동의 영향을 받습니다. 같은 폭으로 ETH 가격이 움직여도, 오를 때 늘어나는 금액과 내릴 때 줄어드는 금액이 모두 이전보다 작아지는 셈입니다.

📱 Samsung Wallet Brings USDC to Millions of Galaxy Users Samsung is integrating Circle’s USDC stablecoin directly into Samsung Wallet, with a U.S. rollout planned for late October. The service will allow Galaxy users to hold and transfer USDC without installing a separate crypto wallet or managing private keys. Users will be able to send funds to compatible crypto wallets and bank accounts across 60+ countries, with transfers expected to settle in seconds and without transfer fees. Coinbase and Bastion will support custody and security infrastructure, while Samsung is exploring future online payment capabilities and expansion into additional markets. The bigger picture: stablecoins are moving beyond crypto exchanges and into everyday financial apps. With Samsung Wallet, blockchain-based payments could become accessible to millions of users without requiring them to interact directly with crypto infrastructure.
