GIWA's mainnet is not open yet, but this project takes real money on other mainnets: Kaia. Its own GRND token trades on DragonSwap on Kaia mainnet. On GIWA it runs a marathon league on Sepolia testnet.

A walking and running rewards app, running a no-road-closure onchain marathon on GIWA

A Move-to-Earn app that rewards steps. Basic mode needs no NFT and works as a reward pedometer whose points buy products. Pro mode adds blockchain rewards and requires NFT shoes.

Walking, jogging and running are logged against the shoe type you hold. There is leaderboard competition, a crew system, and raffles entered using rewards earned from exercise.

The operator is Proground Inc., a sports-tech startup, which publishes its business registration details and team roster on the site. Its X bio claims more than 300,000 users.

On GIWA it runs an Onchain Marathon: no roads are closed, runners log their own runs, and results are ranked in 3, 5 and 10km leagues, with the records written to GIWA Sepolia testnet. The team points to Seoul's marathon count rising from 19 in 2020 to 530 last year, and to the city's January guidelines capping entrants and moving start times earlier, arguing that finding more road for every new race has a limit.

Announcing its GASOK selection on 2026-08-27, it said it had submitted not a prototype but a product already writing over 10,000 real user transactions a day on GIWA, having skipped a staged rollout after a few weeks of testing and switched it on for every user. Checked on the public dashboard on 2026-09-11: 689 runners in that day's 5km league, 6,525 transactions for the day so far at mid-day, and league records going back to 2026-08-12.

What is GASOK Phase 3?

GASOK is Dunamu and Upbit's builder program for GIWA, an incubation running seven months or more. Phase 3 (Aug–Nov 2026) is the "market readiness & launch" stage, aiming at testnet user metrics and a private mainnet deployment. There are five tracks: DeFi/RWA, Consumer/Social, GIWA-Native, AI/Web3, and Mass Adoption.

What teams admitted to GASOK Phase 3 receive

Engineering and productization support from the GIWA team, plus industry advisors
Seoul office space if needed, and press and media support
A shot at the KBW 2026 Showcase (the top team in each track, five in all)
A $20K grant if picked at the Finalist Demo Day (date not yet announced), then up to $80K more tied to KPIs
